VIVIAN

LIVE PROJECT- SIMON PENGELLY

The Vivian Stool was designed for Allermuir during a live project with furniture designer, Simon Pengelly.  During this project I learnt how to do extensive research on a brand to find their identity, philosophy and the product opportunity gap. This informed the design process and enabled me to design a product that would enrich their existing product ranges.

Vivian is a premium quality stool for hospitality and activity based work spaces.  This comfortable design features a generous upholstered seat with beautiful twin stitching detail.  This stitching and upholstery fabric can come in various colours.  Vivian introduces more triangulation into the Allermuir range with the unique wooden laminated V shaped seat panel. The stool legs and frame are tubular steel with solid steel cross bars to add strength and support.
